Hollywood & Highland Center® celebrated its sixth year as the center of the cinema universe on February 25, 2007, when the Kodak Theatre was again the site of the annual Academy Awards® presentation.
The ceremony, hosted for the first time by writer, actress and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, honored the outstanding film achievements of 2006.
The Departed triumphed in the Best Picture category, and its director, six-time nominee Martin Scorsese, also went home a winner.
