Ambassadors' Club

The Ambassadors' club was created by the RRIS, the Asper Institute for New Media Diplomacy and StandWithUs, in order to establish a leadership and advocacy program which will allow high-level students from the IDC to be trained by experts in an interactive fashion; using creative tools to involve students in active learning while gaining experience. Through these sessions, the Ambassadors' Club aims to help the students see themselves as ambassadors and future leaders. Throughout the year the club uses a two-level approach:  On the one hand, offering information regarding the issues and on the other, developing the skills necessary to best utilize this knowledge. The program is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is designed to provide the students with necessary tools in different disciplines concerning public advocacy and diplomacy. The sessions deal with topics such as public speaking, important facts about Israel and the Arab-Israeli conflict, ways of defending arguments, conveying messages through the media and more. All sessions are held in English.
