Bow Wow
Lil' Bow Wow (a.k.a. Shad Gregory Moss) was discovered by Snoop Dogg when he was 6. Hip-hop powerhouse producer Jermaine Dupri (Kris Kross, Da Brat, TLC) signed him to his So So Def label and produced Lil' Bow Wow's debut album, Beware of Dog (2000), when he was 13. The album went to No. 8 on the Billboard 200 chart and spawned the hits "Bounce With Me" and "Bow Wow (That's My Name)." After releasing his second album, Doggy Bag, in 2002, he starred in the kid's flick Like Mike. Dropping the "Lil'" from his name, Bow Wow signed with Colombia and released Unleashed in 2003.
