Description
This signature detects attempt to exploit a buffer overflow vulnerability by passing long arguments into a method of BaoFeng Storm ActiveX Control.

BaoFeng Storm ActiveX control is prone to multiple buffer-overflow vulnerabilities because it fails to perform adequate boundary checks on user-supplied data. The ActiveX control can be identified with the following CLSID: 6BE52E1D-E586-474F-A6E2-1A85A9B4D9FB. These issue affect the following methods of 'Mps.dll':
- advancedOpen()
- backImage()
- isDVDPath()
- rawParse()
- titleImage()
- URL()
Successfully exploiting these issues allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of the application using the ActiveX control (typically Internet Explorer). Failed exploit attempts likely result in denial-of-service conditions.
