Jon Miller and Hall of Famer Joe Morgan will provide commentary with baseball insider Peter Gammons. Gary Thorne will call the game with analyst Dave Campbell on ESPN Radio, while Ernesto Jerez and Candy Maldonado will team with reporter Guillermo Celis on ESPN Deportes. ESPNEWS: College Football Hall of Fame AnnouncementOn Thursday, May 1, at noon, ESPNEWS will air live the announcement of the class of 2008 for the College Football Hall of Fame. John Saunders will host the proceedings from New York with National Football Foundation (NFF) Chairman Archie Manning and NFF President & CEO Steve Hatchell. Seventy-five players and eight coaches are finalists, with the 12,000 NFF members and Hall of Famers voting. Of the 4.6 million individuals who have played college football, only 829 players have earned induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. From the coaching ranks, 178 individuals have achieved the distinction. |
