Welcome to WITcat
WITcat is WIT Libraries' online public access catalogue (OPAC). It is freely available on the public Internet at http://witcat.wit.ie.

Access Your Library Account:
You can view your library account, renew and reserve books currently on loan to yourself or others. You will need a PIN number to access this function - ask at the library desk.

Save / e-mail records
Mark records of interest using the tickbox, click on Save Marked Records at the bottom of the screen, and then use the Save or e-mail function to: 

• save chosen records to disk
• send records to your e-mail
• export records to citation management software such as EndNote, Reference Manager etc.

Suggest books for purchase by the library
Use the Suggest a Book function to recommend books for purchase by the library - such recommendations are very welcome from all library users at all times.

Search other library collections within WITcat
Search other library collections without leaving WITcat 'Z39.50' search function. Catalogues from many of the ITs, UCC and Trinity can currently be searched. Let us know if there is any particular library, anywhere in the world, that you would like to see included if their system is interoperable with ours we will add it.
