Timberlake To Release His 'Lovesounds'

Justin Timberlake is releasing Futuresex/Lovesounds, the follow-up to his debut solo-album "Justified," on Sept. 12, his recording label, Jive Records, said Monday.

The first single, "SexyBack," will be shipped to radio stations on July 7, according to Jive. The song was co-written by Timbaland, Nate Hills and Timberlake himself. The singer also co-wrote the album and shares producer credit.

Timberlake will kick off an international tour in July to promote the album, making stops in Europe and Japan. He'll bring the tour to the United States in August, playing in clubs to preview and promote the album. Venues and dates will be announced shortly.

"Justified," released in 2002, sold more than 7 million copies worldwide and earned Timberlake two Grammy awards: Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Male Vocal Performance for the single "Cry Me A River."

The former NSYNC member also has been trying his hand at acting. He has roles in three upcoming films, "Alpha Dog," "Black Snake Moan" and "Southland Tales."
