North Australia’s Cut Flower Industry produces a great diversity of tropical flowers and foliage, specialising predominantly in heliconias, gingers and orchids. It is comprised of approximately 40 growers, mostly located near Darwin, the capital of the Northern Territory, and throughout the east coast in Queensland and northern New South Wales.
This web site is designed to show the vast array of products provided by our industry, how they can be used, where they can be sourced from, as well as being a source of much other useful information. There is also an area where financial members of the group can easily obtain access to the latest industry updates and historical data.
We take the business of producing flowers very seriously and are constantly involved with the hybridisation of new and better varieties of many types of flowers. Please take the time to view those already produced, as well as the ongoing projects.
