Spanish rider Dani Pedrosa took pole for Sunday's French MotoGP today.
   
The Honda rider, who leads the overall standings, edged Yamaha's Colin Edwards of the United States with Australia's reigning world champion Casey Stoner, coming in third on his Ducati.
