Brookfield Central won with a rare combination of individual excellence and depth spread over the 18 events that make up a WIAA track and field meet. For that, Lewis has been named the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Milwaukee-area girls track and field coach of the year. Watertown's Lindsay Schwartz is the athlete of the year.
