Apophis, the penultimate Hyksos king, changed his titulary 3 times during his long reign. It is not known if these changes reflect different stages in his reign, or whether there were other political or religious motivations to do this. This does, however, seem to suggest a relatively long reign.
1. First part of his reign
From the earliest part of Apophis' reign, only the prenomen has survived.

2. Second part of his reign
During the second stage of his reign, Apophis appears to have extended his titulary to include a Horus-name and his nomen. In addition, his prenomen was changed.

3. Last stage of the reign
From the last stage of Apophis' reign, several variations of his prenomen and nomen have survived. It is interesting to note that again, the prenomen was changed, but that it remained a synonym of the previous prenomen.
