Biography

NOTA BENE: THE VIEWS EXPRESSED IN OMNIA OMNIBUS ARE MY OWN AND DO NOT REFLECT THE VIEWS OF MY EMPLOYER, ITS STAFF, OR ITS CLIENTS.

I am an attorney specializing in litigation of environmental law matters, esp. those arising under the federal Endangered Species Act and Clean Water Act. I was graduated from Georgetown College and the University of San Diego School of Law. My intellectual mentors include the Reverend James V. Schall, S.J., of Georgetown, and the late Professor Bernard Siegan, esq., of USD. In theology I am a Thomist, in philosophy a Neo-Scholastic, in law a formalist/textualist/originalist, and in politics a republican with due respect for executive power.

Interests

In my spare time I like to play tennis, sing 16th Century polyphony & 12th Century chant, and make perspicacious remarks. This latter hobby has of course endeared me to my colleagues. It is a happy life.
