 Welcome to the St. John's Arts and Culture Centre
A division of the Department of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, the head offices of the Arts and Culture Centres are located in the St. John's Arts and Culture Centre, Pippy Park, St. John's. Committed to excellence and presenting the best to patrons, the Arts and Culture Centres offer a wide variety of programming from the best that Newfoundland has to offer to diverse artists from across Canada and abroad. The St. John's Arts and Culture Centre was opened on May 22, 1967. The Centre houses a 1,000 seat proscenium Main Theatre, a 75 seat black box Basement Theatre, childrens, adult and reference libraries, art galleries, and catering services. | When purchasing your first Arts and Culture Centre tickets of the Season, if you haven't already done so register for our SuperPatron plan and collect Patron Points every time you purchase tickets for an Arts and Culture Centre sponsored show.
