In 1985 the Arizona Outlaws drafted the only player in USFL history whose name was a double palindrome:  9th round choice Bob Otto from Idaho State.

Among the Outlaws 1985 territorial draft selections was QB Randall Cunningham of UNLV.  Cunningham was as a result ineligible for the regular draft.

No members of the Oklahoma Outlaws were named to The Sporting News 1984 All-USFL team.

The Arizona Outlaws administrative offices were located at 515 North 48th Street in Phoenix.
