We take privacy, and the right to intellectual freedom seriously.

Scriblio’s servers and software track as little information as possible to be able to operate effectively. Our servers can’t identify you, except with the name and email address you may use when submitting comments, but they do track access info, including times and IP addresses.

Scriblio uses cookies to make the site easier to use. We do not share our cookies with any other site, nor do we use cookies to track your behavior on other sites.

Release or Transfer of Information

We will not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you’ve requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

  • We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;
  • We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Scriblio’s terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
  • We may transfer information about you if Plymouth State University transfers or merges Scriblio with another project or institution. In this event, we will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Policy Changes

It’s unlikely, but we may update this privacy policy. If it involves significant changes, we’ll will put up a prominent notice on our website.
