THE MORAN AWARD FOR HISTORY OF SCIENCE RESEARCH
Applications are now invited. Closing date is 30 June 2008.
This award is aimed at postgraduate students and other independent researchers with expertise in the history of Australian science. Its purpose is to encourage use of the Basser Library collections, especially by younger researchers, and it can be used towards travel and accommodation costs.
A total of $2500 is available each year. This will generally be awarded to one person, but may be split between candidates at the selection committee’s discretion.
Applications should be limited to three pages and include a curriculum vitae, a brief outline of the proposed project and the Basser Library collections to be consulted, and a budget. Please attach two referees’ reports to your application.
