This images below were taken with GSTAR-EX video camera on 21 May 2006 and 30 Sep 2007(poor seeing conditions). Through the 31.5cm F/4.5 it reveals much fainter stars in the background with only 2 minutes of integration. The movement is quite noticeable over the 16 month period.

A small galaxy is also revealed above center right, possibly PGC 61178 mag 14.6

  Image Info

Very close to our solar system at 5.99 Light Years and has the highest proper motion of any Star visible from Earth.
It moves at 10.29 arc sec/yr, so in 20 years it has moved 205.8 arc sec (3 min 26 sec) across the sky.
