| Located in the rolling hills of Southern Arizona
is Arivaca Boys Ranch and Academy. This unique and historic ranch will be
the home to 50 teenage boys who will experience the wonder of
the ranch life and the Arabian Horse as they continue their high school education. Each
Boy learns the art of “Horse Whispering.” With horses as the
therapeutic tool, these young men will discover themselves through
the eyes of their horse and how to develop healthy relationships
with parents and other family members, and become responsible
citizens. The program lasts ten months as boys progress through 5
levels, learning natural horsemanship techniques. Arivaca is
one of the oldest
cattle ranches in Arizona, currently running 350 head, which will
provide plenty of work for these young men and their horses. |
