Jay Parini, a professor at Middlebury College in Vermont, stops by to talk with Don about his latest book, The Last Station, which focuses on the last few years of Leo Tolstoy’s life. Jay tells many interesting stories about Tolstoy’s life. He also informs us of his educational background and how he came to master poetry. Jay Parini is also the author of Singing In Time, The Love Run, and House of Days, as well as many essays and poems.
