Bristol City Council, the organisers of EDF Energy Bristol Harbour Festival, has a commitment to reducing the carbon footprint of the event, in line with Bristol’s long-term aim to be “A Green Capital – a low carbon city with a high quality of life.”
The festival is taking many practical steps to reduce its own emissions, including employing locally sourced contractors wherever possible to reduce the impact of transporting crew and infrastructure to the festival, and is also committed to helping visitors to reduce their impact on the environment.
