 Internal selection
in Poland has decided that Marcin Mroczek and Edyta Herbus
will represent country at Eurovision Dance Contest in Glasgow.Marcin is TV actor, popular for his role in "M jak milosc" series (same as previous EDC entrant Katarzyna Cichopek). You can see couple dancing here. Dancers will perform mix of rumba and cha cha at the contest. Music to the dance will be arranged by Adam Sztaba. National element will be preserved by colours of dancers dresses - white and red - colours of national Polish flag. Edyta's dress will contain a surprise. "We are very intensively training, it is definitely a huge responsibility that we represent our country", says Edyta Herbus. "I like challenges, stress raises the adrenaline. The worries disappear when I enter the floor, once I am in the middle, I think only about the dance", adds Mroczek. Marcin Mroczek was born in Polish town of Siedlce in family of businessmen on 10th of July, 1982. He draw his first breath not alone. He meet the world together with his twin brother Rafal who is 7 minutes olden than Marcin. At the age of 6 Marcin attended prelim kindergarten and at the age of 7 he started Primary School Number 11. In this sui generis and memorable school he took his first steps in acting lessons. As a result he took part in many school performances. In the meantime Marcin planed to be basketball player, football player and soldier. At the age of 10 Marcin attended Modern Dance Team “Caro Dance” in Siedlce. Together with a team they won multiple Poland and Europe Champion titles. It was even more than amazing time in his life. For the very first time he entered the stage and meet the audience and from this time that attracted him more and more. When he was 18 understands surprise behind our case amazing finish fate mum has caused him, which affected the rest of his life. Marcin and Rafal won casting on roles of twins brothers in most popular of all – time polish TV serial "M jak milosc". One third Pole followed fates of heroes twice on week days. In 2003 starred in movie "Stara basn - kiedy slonce bylo bogiem" by Jerzy Hoffman. He has been given capability of taking part in numerous programs and television shows inter alia in “Show Time”. Took part in 4th edition of "Taniec z gwiazdami" (Polish version of "Dancing With Stars") on TVN channel where finished 3rd in couple with Herbus. A year ago same competition was won by his brother Rafal. Later became winner of Ukrainian international edition "Dancing With Stars 3" in couple with Anna Pelipenko scoring more than 600 thousands of votes, while Rafal was guest of one of their performances. But winning was not the most important thing to Marcin. Opportunity to experience all attending there emotions, meeting new people and through the language of dance - telling them story of my life. Language which everyone understands… Currently Mroczek brothers are launching acting agency "Mroczek house" which will organize entertainment events in Poland. Marcin he is about to finish Warsaw Technical University on department of land – based engineering. And of course he is dancing a lot preparing to Eurovision Dance Contest. Edyta Herbus was born on 26 February 1981 in Kielce, Poland. At the age of nine she attended dancing lessons in private school of dance and grace “STEP BY STEP”. She spent there colorful years, fulfilling her artistic dreams, qualifying more and more masterly titles and scenic experience. She fell love in dance, audience and scene… She has on account double title of Polish Champion in dance formation, two polish goblets in Latino formation, Polish Vice Champion in pairs. Edyta Herbus is a finalist in Open Championship LA style in Copenhagen. Moreover she is finalist in Poland Europe and World Championship in modern dance and Polish Master in Disco Mini Formation. Dancing is the greatest passion of Edyta Herbus. She believes that this is the most beautiful way of expressing emotions. Somewhere along the line dancing occurred to be the key to success in different discipline. This streak of luck became thanks to TV program called “Dancing with Stars”. Edyta Herbus was there twice a co – dance to popular polish actors: Jacob Wesolowski and Marcin Mroczek, both times finishing in 3rd place. Hardly after few weeks of dancing in this show she was notified and appreciated by TV producers who invited her to test shooting for TV series "Na Wspolnej". She became host of popular TV dancing program in MTV Poland “In The Rhythm of MTV”. Taking part in those TV programs brought her popularity. After just few months everyone asked her for autograph or shooting picture with her as a star. But not only popularity was her success. She received more and more offers for example taking part in TV show "Jak oni spiewaja?", finishing 4th. Currently Edyta is co – owner of dancing school with Tomek Baranski in Otwock and co – host in TV program called “Hit Kids”. Additionaly she is playing role of Susan in very popular TV series "Tylko milosc". After all dancing is the only passion in Edyta’s. She cannot imagine living without it. It’s just a part of her live. In Poland EDC will be broadcasted live by TVP2 at 21.00 CET on 6th of September. Polish commentators of the broadcast as last year will be Artur Orzech and Zbigniew Zasada. In Polish studio host Anna Popek will be joined by last year representatives Katarzyna Cichopek and Marcin Hakiel. Together with the audience they will comment on events in Glasgow and later discuss winners of the competition. |

Национальный колорит танца будет передан цветами костюмов танцоров, которые будут выполнены в белом и красном цвете - цветах национального флага. Платье Эдиты будет содержать в себе сюрприз. "Мы очень интенсивно тренируемся, это очень большая ответственность представлять страну", говорит Эдита. "Я люблю подобные соревнования, стресс повышает уровень адреналина. Но все волнения остаются позади, когда я выхожу на паркет. Там я думаю только о танце", добавляет Марчин.  Марчин
Мрочек родился в польском городе Сиедльце в
семье бизнесменов 10 июля 1982 года. Свой первый
вздох он произвел не в одиночестве. На свет он
появился с братом-близнецом Рафалем, который на 7
минут старше, чем Марчин. В возрасте 7 лет Марчин
начал брать уроки актерского мастерства и
выступать в различных школьных постановках.
Однако, он планировал в дальнейшем стать
баскетболистом, футболистом или солдатом. В
возрасте 10 лет Марчин начинает посещать школу
современного танца "Caro Dance". В составе
команды он завоевал множество польских и
европейских титулов. Это было замечательным
периодом в его жизни. Впервые он взошел на сцену и
увидел зрителей, и с этого времени это занятие
привлекало его больше и больше. В возрасе 18 лет Марчин и Рафаль победили на кастинге в сериал "Л-как любовь", самый популярный польский сериал всех времен. Одна треть поляков следила за судьбами героев сериала дважды в неделю. В 2003 сыграл в фильме Ежи Гофмана ”Давнее сказание. Когда солнце было Богом”. Он получил возможность участия в различных программах и телешоу, например в "Show Time". В польских "Танцах со звездами-4" Марчин Мрочек в паре с Эдитой Хербус занял 3е место, зато сезоном ранее победил его брат Рафаль. В украинских ”Танцах со звездами” Рафаль исполнял с Мрочеком и Пелипенко квик-степ. Сейчас Рафаль участвует в "Танцах на льду". В украинских "Танцах со звездами 3" Марчин победил в паре с Анной Пелипенко, получив более 600 тысяч голосов телезрителей. Но победа была не самой важной вещью для Марчина. Важнее всего была возможность демонстрировать свои эмоции, через танец - язык понятный всем - поведать историю своей жизни и познакомиться с новым людьми. Сейчас братья Мрочеки открывают актерское агентство "Мрочек Хауз", которое будет устраивать в Польше развлекательные мероприятия. Марчин вскоре закончит Варшавский Технический Университет, инженерный департамент. И, конечно, он много готовится к Танцевальному Евровидению.  Эдита Хербуш родилась 26го

артистические мечты, она полюбила танцы,
зрителей и сцену и завоевала множество титулов. На ее счету два титула чемпионки Польши в танце в стиле формэйшн, вице-чемпионство в латинских танцах. Эдита - финалистка открытого чемпионата Дании. Также она представляла Польшу в чемпионатах Европы и Мира по современным танцам. Эдита верит, что танец - это лучший способ выражения эмоций. Она принимала участие в двух сезонах польских "Танцев со звездами" (в 2005 заняв 3е место в паре с Якубом Весоловски). После участия в шоу, ее заметили телевизионные продюсеры и пригласили сниматься в сериале "Na Wspolnej". Она стала ведущей популярной танцевальной программы на MTV Польши "В ритме MTV". Участие в этих программах принесло ей всенародную популярность. Уже чере несколько месяцев все начали просить у нее автографы и возможность с ней сфотографироваться. Эдита также заняла 4е место в песенном шоу Jak oni spiewaja? В настоящее время она - совладелица танцевальной школы в Отвоке с Томеком Барански и соведущая программы "Hit Kids". Также она играет роль Сюзан в популярном телесериале Но танцы остаются единственной страстью Эдиты. Она не может представить себя без них. Это часть ее жизни. В Польше Танцевальное Евровидение будет транслироваться в прямом эфире каналом TVP2 6го сентября. Польскими комментаторами конкурса будут Артур Орцех и Збигнев Засада. В студии в Польше к ведущей Анне Попек присоединятся прошлогодне конкурсанты Катаржина Чихопек и Марчин Хакель. Вместе со зрителями они будут комментировать происходящее в Глазго и позже обсудят победителей конкурса. |

| Training sessions with Roman Pawelec in Radom have been completed.
"We're cooperating with Roman for a long time already, so I've decided we need to
work with him on Eurovision Dance preparations as well", said Edyta Herbus. Dancers are very satisfied with the results of the sessons, as they have revealed. "Training is not easy, we were spending several hours per day on it, but the more I learn, more it makes pleasure for me", said Marcin. The couple is optimistic and is counting on victory. - After two weeks of our work with Roman we are already well prepared. We think that we will be in the forefront of the competition. |

Романом, поэтому я решила предложить готовиться
на Евровидение с ним", рассказала Эдита Хербуш. Танцоры очень довольны результатами тренировок. "Они были достаточно напряженными, мы работали по нескольку часов в день, но чем больше я учусь, тем больше удовольствия я получаю", рассказал Марчин. Пара настроена оптимистично и рассчитывает на победу. - После двух недель работы с Романом мы отлично подготовлены. Мы думаем, что войдем в число лидеров конкурса. |
