Papé Machinery purchases assets of Nortrax West
Portland Business Journal
Papé Machinery Inc., a division of The Papé Group Inc., has purchased the assets of Nortrax West -- the entire Western region of Nortrax, a John Deere construction and forestry equipment dealer, with eight locations in northern California and western Nevada.
With the addition of the eight former Nortrax locations, Papé Machinery now serves customers in 20 locations in four states. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
"The addition of these dealerships further strengthens our presence in markets where we already serve the capital equipment needs of customers with our Hyster, Bobcat and Ingersoll-Rand lines," said Randy Papé, president and CEO of the Eugene-based Papé Group.
The privately held Papé Group is a holding company for capital equipment dealerships throughout the West. Its five business units are Papé Material Handling Inc., Bobcat West, Ditch Witch Northwest, Flightcraft Inc. and Papé Machinery. It employs more than 1,500 people.
