Tsarong Dundul Namgyal with Tibet's tallest man (1943). Seven feet eleven inches in his boots, this giant from Khyungpo, Kham, was brought to Lhasa in 1942 as a candidate for the Dalai Lama's monk bodyguard (sing-gak) contingent.
