UNIVERSITY CLOSURE: TUESDAY, SEPT. 2

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette announced tonight that it will be closed on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 due to the threat of Hurricane Gustav. The decision was made early to allow students, faculty and staff an opportunity to make their preparations and be with their families for the storm.

Residence halls are fully staffed and secured for any students who currently live on campus and choose to remain on campus.

Updates on the status of university operations will be made available through the media, the university's hotline at (337) 482-2222, through ULink, Moodle and the University's website at www.louisiana.edu.
