The Link for ‘Learning and Knowing in Networks’ (pdf) isn’t correct.
I think it should be http://it.coe.uga.edu/itforum/Paper105/Siemens.pdf

The Downes Connective Knowledge article has a link to the complete article as an MS Word doc that does not seem to work. Is there a version of this article online that includes a works cited or bibliography?

Nice work on using links to reference in “Learning Networks and Connective Knowledge” - clever use of demonstrating the connected nature of learning.

[...] I am planning to attend this fall’s Connectivism and Connective Knowledge online course, that runs from September 8 - November 29, 2008. With instructors George Siemens and Stephen Downes, it is sure to be an interesting and exciting experience that can be taken for credit through the University of Manitoba or free without the credit. Interested in joining over 1000 (at recent count) people in this MOOC (Massive Online Open Course), then you may want to do some background reading that George has gathered together. [...]

I am delighted to be taking this course. I feel my skills in this area are far behind where they need to be.

    Hi!
I’m really excited about this course in many ways. First of all it feels almost magic to be taken part in a corse with people from all over the world. I learnt about George Siemens, Stephens Downes and Connectivism barely a year ago, and now thanks to the Internet and their generosity I’m about to join one of their courses! I am also afraid it might be a bit out of my league but I am here to learn, to learn from a knowing network …

I’ve started translating the Connective Knowledge Article by Stephen Downes into Spanish:
    http://docs.google.com/View?docid=dpmfd2r_5fh6sd2dt
Hopefully it will serve two purposes: I’ll be forced to do a deeper, more reflexive reading of the paper in order to translate it, and it will help Spanish people that are interested in the topic but don’t feel very confident about their English!

Many thanks for this translation. Now i can share with a lot of pairs that can’t read english.

I an anxious to attend this course
