I think this article has been a lead for a while.

Lets test a theory. If there is a post for this article (like this one) then the article will not be the lead on monstersandcritics. If it happens within a few 10s of minutes then this site has an algorithm to take leads off due to activity. I will have to 'sample' more article posting to substantiate this theory.

Oh, I should put a time mark. It is 5pm PST as of this (2nd) posting.

OK, I will bite on this insipid article:

'No significant precursory seismic activity'

Good lord man! What is science about?: Looking at history (one million years) and geology and predicting the likelihood of an event in the future. It is NOT just about looking at the last 5 seconds of recorded time! Put those damn shear walls into building now and stop being such a dumb ass about the theory of geology. For action, you do not have to predict the time of the event, just that the event has a likelihood of happening! Such a statement from Gary Gibson is just an apologist point of view.

Hum, rats. It does not appear to be automated. I guess such long-lasting article posts are very subjectively placed.
