Q Is PlayStation@Home a global service
A Yes.
Q What can I do in PlayStation@Home?
A PlayStation@Home is an all-new service that let users meet with new friends and play games online to enrich their experience with PlayStation®. More contents will be provided in the future to bring about an even more dynamic life in PlayStation@Home.
Q What is the required network environment for using PlayStation@Home?
A It is the same as using PLAYSTATION®Network (“PSN”).

○For wired network environment
・ Subscription to a broadband connection service with any Internet service provider (ISP) *1
・ Network devices, such as a modem or router
・ LAN cable (supplied with the "PS3" system)

○For wireless network environment
・ Subscription to a broadband connection service with any Internet service provider*1
・ Network devices, such as a modem or router
・ Access Point*2

*1:Refers to a high-speed network connection service, such as FTTH, ADSL and CATV.
*2:Not required if your modem or router can also serve as an access point.

Q Do I need to pay for using PlayStation@Home?
A The current plan is that download and use of PlayStation@Home will be free of charge and some charged services may be provided in the future.
Q How many avatars can I have?
A You can only have one Online ID in PlayStation@Home for every PLAYSTATION®Network account. However you are free to change the sex and appearance of your avatar at any time and save your setting afterwards.
Q Is the username in PlayStation@Home different from the Online ID or Online Name (a nickname that can be adopted by more than one user)?
A It is the same as the Online ID of PLAYSTATION®Network. Please note that if a friend in your Friends List has already set an Online Name with PLAYSTATION®Network, his/her Online Name will be displayed in the list but not the Online ID.
Q Can I log in to my PlayStation@Home account from my friend’s PS3™?
A Logging in is possible but some information will not be displayed.
 A PLAYSTATION®Network account contains important information such as credit card number and needs to be managed carefully.
Q Is there a system to monitor improper behaviors?
A We monitor the public spaces of PlayStation@Home regularly.
We also provide a channel for users to report improper behaviors to the administrator of Home.
Q Is there any guidelines to regulate user’s behavior?
A User’s behavior in PlayStation@Home must be complied with the guideline provided at PLAYSTATION®Network.
Q Can a user report his/her grievance against another user’s behavior?
A Yes.
We will conduct investigation after receiving a report. We will terminate the account of relevant user and prohibit him/her from using our service if necessary.
