Tickets for the upcoming Tennent’s International Challenge Match between The match, which is new manager George Burley’s first game in charge, takes place on Wednesday 26 March with an 8:00pm kick-off. Tickets are available by phoning the official SECC Ticket Hotline Number - 08444 811 818, online at www.secxtra.com and at the Hampden Park Museum Shop. You can also purchase tickets at the Official Scotland Shop based in Unit 41 of the Plaza Mall within East Kilbride Shopping Centre. The Scottish Cup takes centre stage this weekend as the remaining teams take the next step on the road to Hampden. Saturday 8 March 2008 Queen of the South v Dundee St Johnstone v St Mirren Sunday 9 March 2008 Aberdeen v Celtic (Kick-off 12.45pm LIVE ON SKY) Rangers v Hibernian All matches take place at 3pm unless otherwise stated Scottish Cup Draw Two of the most powerful and influential figures in world football, Mr Platini and Mr Blatter will have their say on the outcome of this year's Scottish Cup when they make the draw for the Semi-Finals this Saturday at Gleneagles. The Presidents of FIFA and UEFA will be in Scotland on March 8 for the International Football Association Board meeting being held in Gleneagles, whilst they are there the two men will carry out the draw alongside Scottish FA President George Peat. The Scottish FA has launched a National Strategy for Youth football and a national campaign for Youth Football with the strapline: Live It Play It Love It. This is an exciting time to get involved in the development of the greatest game on the planet. Scotland needs more coaches , volunteers and kids to get involved with Youth football at all levels, no matter your background. This is a long term goal but you can make the difference today.You will not be on your own. The Scottish F.A and Scottish Government are committed to providing long term support with training from fully qualified SFA coaches to supplying equipment and support for those involved in youth development. All you need is a desire to be part of the Scottish F.A Youth Football Campaign. Scotland Captain Julie Fleeting has been awarded Sports Personality of the Year at this years Field In Trust awards ceremony, formerly the Playing Fields Association. Julie joins an elite group of sports men and women to receive this award; past recipients include racing driver Jackie Stewart, sprinter Lee McConnell, snooker player Stephen Hendry, ex-Scotland manager Andy Roxburgh and ex-Scotland Manager Craig Brown. Julie was given the award in recognition of her achievements, reaching 100 International caps and goals for Scotland and was praised as being a fantastic role model for young people The Scotland Women’s National team are currently in There are 6 countries involved, Anna Signeul sees this friendly International tournament as an ideal opportunity for the Scotland Team to train and focus in advance of their next UEFA European qualifier on Sunday 27th of April in Denmark ,Viborg.
