Senator Leahy is shown at the groundbreaking for a new transit facility for Connecticut River Transit in Rockingham.
On September 3, 2008, Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) visited the site for Connecticut River Transit's new 20,000-square-foot transit facility in Rockingham.  Leahy secured $3 million for the $3.66 million project.  This site will house a new transit facility and bus terminal, as well as a new park and ride lot. Connecticut River Transit is expected to move into the facility next spring.
