Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum

Events

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is the nonprofit organization that exists to educate visitors, fans and scholars from around the world about the history and continuing significance of rock and roll music. It carries out this mission both through its operation of a world-class museum that collects, preserves, exhibits and interprets this art form and through its library and archives as well as its educational programs.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum has three signature fundraising events it holds annually.  Proceeds from these fundraisers support the educational programs at the Museum.

Our signature events include:

Riot Girls & Rebels: A Celebration of Professional Women Who Rock An event to celebrate women of all ages and backgrounds and recognize their professional achievements and contributions to the arts. We hope to inspire our audience and future Riot Girls with personal accounts of our honorees’ careers. The recipients of the Rock Hall Riot Girl award will be an executive in the music industry, a female musician and lastly a Northeast Ohio business professional. It’s Only Rock and Roll This gala event features a diverse group of artists playing their greatest hits.  It’s been called the “Party of the Year” in Cleveland.  Past artists have included the B-52’s, Eric Burdon, Eddie Money, Joan Jett, Sam the Sham and War.  This event is held in the Spring each year. Rock and Roll Couture This runway style fashion show, done in partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue, has featured the designs of St. John and Chanel.  This event is typically held in the Fall.

American Music Masters This educational program features a day-long conference and an evening concert dedicated to an American Music Master.  The event honors artists whose careers have had a significant influence on the birth of rock and roll and its ongoing evolution.  Past American Music Masters have celebrated legends like: Louis Jordan, Muddy Waters, Hank Williams, Sam Cooke and Jerry Lee Lewis.  This event is held in the Fall each year.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum also holds several exhibit opening and smaller, more intimate fundraising events throughout the year.
