They skipped Phoenix in 2006, but they wouldn't dare do it again. Yes, the American Idols Live Tour '07 will take about three months to travel around the country, and one of the early stops will be at the Jobing.com Arena[/link] in Glendale, Arizona. That's just west of Phoenix, and a very appropriate venue for the event, since Jordin Sparks actually lives in Glendale. Tickets go on sale beginning May 19, 2007. If tickets sell out, you can try buying tickets through a ticket broker (Buy Direct).
A beautiful smile, attractive, churchgoer, humble--Jordin Sparks has many endearing qualities.
Not yet out of high school, Jordin Sparks has already made quite an impression on America, and on the music world in particular. As one of the 12 finalists on American Idol (Season 6) Jordin is pretty much assured a successful career as a singer if she is managed properly and keeps her good head on her shoulders.
She lives in Glendale, Arizona just west of Phoenix. Glendale, Arizona is the home of the University of Phoenix Stadium where the Arizona Cardinals play football, and the Jobing.com Arena where the Phoenix Coyotes play hockey. Jordin Sparks was 16 years old when she auditioned for American Idol. The three judges unanimously agreed to give Jordin the yellow card to go to Hollywood.
Jordin Sparks is the daughter of Phillipi Sparks who played professional football for Arizona State University and the New York Giants. She attended Sandra Day O’Connor High School until 2006, when she opted for home-schooling to allow her to focus on singing.
This is the first time that a contestant from the Phoenix area has made it to the final 12 on American Idol. We wish her much success, on American Idol and in the future.
