UWO Receives Mental Health Services Grant
 Congressman Tom Petri reports that the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Center for Mental Health Services will receive a $100,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.  The funds will be used to expand the university's Comprehensive Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Program, to develop and implement the Center for Balanced Wellness Program, to mobilize an Alcohol Task Force and to continue increasing the campus' competency in working with distressed and marginalized students.  Full Release

SENATORS KOHL AND FEINGOLD, CONGRESSMEN PETRI AND KAGEN TO HOST UNITED STATES SERVICE ACADEMY DAY ‘08
Washington D.C. – U.S. Senators Herb Kohl and Russ Feingold and Congressmen Tom Petri and Steve Kagen will hold Academy Day 2008 on Saturday, September 20, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Center in Oshkosh.  This informative seminar is open to all Wisconsin high school students, parents, guidance counselors, and others who have an interest in the admissions process of the U.S. Service Academies.  All necessary qualifications and the procedures for applying to the academies will be explained.  Registration is not required for this event.  Full Release
