Monday September 22nd sure is a busy day, with the Brownlow Medal and the Emmy Awards both taking place.

While Arena screens the Emmys live to air at 10am AEST, Network TEN will screen a highlights package later that night. But as it competes with the Brownlow Medal, times will vary depending on where you live:

AFL’s night of nights will be seen on Network TEN this year, Monday September 22nd.

TEN will air a Red Carpet Brownlow Arrival special at 7:00pm and the Brownlow Medal count from 8:30pm in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

Christi Malthouse and Luke Darcy will host the Red Carpet Arrivals, while Steve Quartermain will host the big count. Last year’s winner was Geelong’s Jimmy Bartel (pictured).

Australian Idol verdict will remain at 7:30pm.

90210 and Burn Notice are held over in Vic, SA and WA.

90210 will air in NSW & Qld prior to the Emmy Awards.

Fans keep Burn Notice fire alive

TEN continues to make alterations to its programming regarding Burn Notice, but the news is good for fans.

Instead of early plans for a movie on Monday September 15 at 9:30pm, it will air another episode of the US action drama, with the episode, “Bad Blood.” This is the second last to have aired so far in America.

Next week of course the show is absent due to the 2 hour premiere of 90210. There were some unanswered questions about whether the show would return.

TEN had already done one backflip on Burn Notice …

What a difference a day makes.

Never let it be said fans at websites, including this one, don’t have pulling power. TEN has backed down on its decision to dump Burn Notice.

It will return next week in the prime timeslot of 8:30pm.

Burn Notice gets (another) burn notice

As anyone watching Burn Notice last night would have seen, TEN has withdrawn the show from current scheduling again.

On this occasion it disappears after just five eps, replaced with movies on August 25 and September 1.

This is a disappointment to fans who also saw the series pulled earlier this year.
