Zaki: Winning goal

Amr Zaki was the match-winner for Wigan for the second successive game as the Latics defeated Hibernian at Easter Road.

Having netted in the recent 3-2 victory over Sheffield Wednesday, Egyptian forward Zaki was again on target as he steered home Antonio Valencia's cross on 69 minutes.

Zaki agreed his season-long loan switch to the JJB Stadium in July and he is continuing to show why Wigan boss Steve Bruce spent most of the summer chasing his services

The 25-year-old's goal was to be his last touch of the match as he was replaced by trialist Joel Thomas.

Striker Colin Nish thought he had put Hibs ahead in the first half but he was denied by an offside flag,

The striker also hit a post as Mixu Paatelainen's side continued on their poor pre-season run of results.
