RICKY GERVAIS - VENTRILOQUIST SHOCKED BY RICKY'S 'RACIST' SCRIPT

A British ventriloquist has slammed the script he was sent for a forthcoming episode of hit RICKY GERVAIS show EXTRAS as "pure filth". Veteran star KEITH HARRIS, famous for his TV act with a toy duck called ORVILLE, was horrified when the creator of THE OFFICE asked him to spout racist slurs on screen. He says, "He wanted me to be a racist bigot and I would have to say things like, 'Is the BBC still run by Jews and homosexuals?' "I read the script and thought, this isn't clever writing, it's pure filth. I turned it down. I'm not desperate."
