Vintage cars displayed in Namakkal

Old beauties: Vintage cars displayed at Paavai Engineering College, Pachal in Namakkal district.
NAMAKKAL: A parade of vintage cars was organised in Paavai Engineering College, Pachal in Namakkal district, as a part of a technical symposium, ‘Plasma 2008,’ organised by the society of Mechanical Engineers.
The car show, which comprised a number of old model cars, was organised to make the students understand the development in the automobile engineering.
The college displayed ten old models of motorcycles and mechanical models as part of the programme.
KCP Solar Industry Managing Director P. Ashok Kumar inaugurated.
Paper presentations and technical quiz were held as a part of the symposium. College chairman N.V Natarajan presided.
Meanwhile, the Society of Civil Engineers organised a technical symposium RCC 08.
