Biography/ Background

Steve Thomas is the Library's Senior Systems Analyst (a.k.a. Library Systems Manager). Steve graduated (B.Sc.) from this University in 1974, since when he has worked continuously in the information technology field. He has held the current position since 1985.

Steve's primary role is the management of the Library's IT systems. Among other things, he has primary responsibility for the following:

The Digital Library
the Library's management system and Catalogue [Voyager]
remote access to e-resources [ezproxy]
the Library web site and web services
Library systems development
eBooks@Adelaide
