Comfortable in either a midfield or full back role, Carlos Edwards was a regular during his country’s 2006 FIFA World Cup™ qualifying campaign.

After his international debut at the 1999 Caribbean Cup, he had a three-week trial with Wrexham as former Wales defender Joey Jones had spotted him with the Trinidadian Defence Force Team.

Was voted Wrexham’s Player of the Year for two seasons before English Championship team Luton Town signed him in May 2005. He also played in the 2002 FIFA World Cup qualifying stages.
