Climate change impacts and response options in mountainous areas The Climate Impact Research Coordination for Larger Europe (CIRCLE) Program organizes and executes joint calls of the partaking research programmes. So far, the focus was on geographic areas of Europe. The Mountain Call is a joint topical call with a broader geographic scope and is dedicated to climate change impacts and response in mountainous areas. A total budget of 2.1 M€ is provided by research funders from Austria, France, Greece, Hungary, Spain, Sweden and Turkey. For Austria, about €200'000 are expected from ProVision of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Research. ERA-NET CIRCLE (Climate Impact Research Coordination in a Larger Europe) 29-Jan-10
Supplies of data on soil parameters The purpose of the Call is that JRC will draw up a list of candidates, meeting the criteria set in the Call, able to deliver soil data in future. In this case JRC will invite all the candidates on the list, or some of them, to submit a tender.The list of candidates will remain valid for a period of 3 years. The soil data will be used to develop the ESDAC and will support the further development and implementation of a future soil policy.
