Attorney General Bob McDonnell joined our next President and Vice President, John McCain and Sarah Palin, as they rallied a massive crowd of thousands yesterday in Virginia Beach. News from the Virginia Beach Rally:
"During his introduction of country music legend Hank Williams Jr., Attorney General Bob McDonnell put Virginia's veterans vote into numbers.
"In Virginia, we have about 850,000 veterans, and over half of them live right here in Hampton Roads," McDonnell said. "John McCain is an American hero. He literally fought and bled for this country."

Attorney General Robert F. McDonnell (R), who spoke at the rally, said he thinks McCain will win Hampton Roads, but he added that it was important for McCain to come to the area anyway to shore up the base.
"You have to energize your team,'' said McDonnell, who was wearing a red tie."You certainly don't want to take any part of the state for granted."
