Help Europe: Silvio Berlusconi is taking over the European media

Did you know that Berlusconi's media imperium has been expanded with
one of the major media concerns ( Endemol ) in the world?
This happened mid 2007.
Now(20/09/2008) Mediaset is interested in the biggest independent British mediaconcern ITV...

Why didn't we read anything about that in our media?
Did you notice that latest years investigative journalists are a dying race?
Maybe it's not a bad idea to draw a clear map of the current media concentrations in the
world.

What has been happening in Italy over the last 15 years, has already started happening in other European countries now.
It's not a coincidence that Berlusconi, during the

'Mani Pulite'   operations decided to 'dedicate' himself to politics.

This gentleman only objective is to polarize and disrupt society for his own comfort.
Divide and rule...

Silvio Berlusconi and his organization have understood very well that if you control the media,
you can act undisturbed.
And the Italian media is continuously controlled and being manipulated.
Headlines have as only scope to spread fear and insecurity , to provoke intolerance and
to divide, antipolitics is daily business ( see the election results in Rome and even Londen, both based on irrational fear )

Indro Montanelli was a monument of Italian journalism.
He was director of 'Il Giornale', respected by left and right, and a vigorous anticommunist
and conservative.
When Berlusconi 'dedicated' himself to politics, Indro had to change his editorial line.
But Indro was a man of principles and if there's something that makes Berlusconi nervous,
it are people with principles, left or right doesn't matter.
Indro had to resign and the director of 'Il Giornale' is now Paulo Berlusconi.

Indro predicted already at that time the current faith of Italy .
He saw Berlusconi as a dictator and a threath for mankind and free press .
He described him as a cancer that keeps on spreading , Berlusconi was for Indro evil in person .
In one of his books he referrered to Berlusconi as the foam that floats on the surface of the
cesspool .
Well, it's this 'foam' that already NOW decides what we and our children get to see
on TV, internet, newspapers, magazines , movie theaters and so on.

Shouldn't our European parliament members get worried about this 'foam'?
Isn't it urgently time to act?
Do we want to follow in Europe the 'democratic' roadmap of Mr Berlusconi and Putin?

If you want to know WHAT won the Italian elections:
Here's a report of facts and quotes of Mr. Berlusconi himself one week before the elections.
Can this man be suspected of any political or ethical principles?
Read and shiver...

Maybe it's not yet too late...

the Silvio danger & Italian voters

I agree wholeheartedly with your ideas !
Why weren't more Italian voters concerned about the risks to democracy that he represents ? Why weren't more voices like yours heard and why didn't Italian voters listen to them ?
I'd just like to correct your grammar in the following sentence. You wrote:
"What's happening since 15 years in Italy, is happening in other European countries
allready now. "
It should read :
"What has been happening in Italy over the last 15 years, has already started happening in other European countries now."

Everybody can help!

Hi Pignola,

Thank you for your comments and the correction.

My message is not a popular message and I have a lot of difficulty to get this published in newspapers or magazines.

For Italy it's too late. The number of critical journalists are getting less and less.
One of them, Marco Travaglio managed to get last week on RAI3.
He talked about the prooven links between the maffia and the chairman of the senate, Giuseppe Schifani.
I can assure you that this will be one of Marco's last appearances on Italian TV.

Important is to spread this message and vote for my articles(click on matucana for all of them) but even better, link to it from blogs or sites.
Everybody can help to stop this cancer!

He's the biggest threath to mankind and democracy since Adolf Hitler

I think he IS the mafia and that they are bying their way in into Europe.
Who controls the media, controls emotions like joy and happiness, but also fear and anxiety.
The current anti-gyspy emotions in Italy were carefully prepared already since one year by an organised media campaign.
Both the election results in Rome and Londen were based on irrational fear...
Who or better WHAT controls the European media?

’ Who has fear dies every day. Who has not, dies only once…’ Judge Paolo Borsellino(RIP) On 8 april 2008, a few days before the elections, Silvio Berlusconi confirms that the life sentenced gangster Vittorio Mangano , who worked several years as ‘horsekeeper’ at the villa of Berlusconi, was a hero. Could it be that this was a message for somebody? In his last interview(19 may 1992), judge Paolo Borsellino

Last week we could see on TV once again the burning garbage in Napels. This can happen only in Italy and that makes us comfortable so that we can joke about it. But this was not the only burning fire, there was much more going on in Italy but unfortunately we haven’t seen much about it in Europe. Several big gypsy camps have been destroyed deliberately or went up in flames so that gypsies for sure

Silvio Berlusconi:a threath for European democracy

    matucana | 04/27/2008 | World

In the media I read that Berlusconi's company mediaset has taken over the dutch media concern of Endemol. Do we have to worry in Europe? The victory of Berlusconi has nothing to do with the 'exotic' nature of Italians, or with political left or right but everything with mediaconcentrations that can fall in the wrong hands. I follow the Italian political situation since 16 years and have seen how far
