ERA: Late Cretaceous ( Maastrichtian 71.3 - 65 Ma ).
SIZE: Length 2 m (6 ft).
LOCATION: Asia.
FOSSILS: Vertebra .
COMMENTS: Compsosuchus is very poorly known, and although classified as an abelisaurid, it may in fact turn out to be an allosaurid .
SPECIES LIST:
C. solus von Huene and Matley, 1933 (type) . Some consider this a nomen dubium .
