Goalkeerper Adam Federici has extended his loan spell at Southend United for a further month.

There is an instant recall clause in the Australian's deal, which now runs until 22nd November.

The keeper, 23, has been at Southend for one month, and has twice been named in the League One team of the week after some cracking performances.

Meanwhile, fellow Royal Hal Robson-Kanu has also agreed to stay at Roots Hall for a further month - taking him up to the maximum three-month period a player can stay at one club on a short term loan arrangement.
