Looking for a company's soul? Just visit its cafeteria. The communications company Hearst designed its brand-new corporate headquarters in midtown Manhattan to foster a more coherent culture. By September, many of the company's magazine staffs, previously scattered at 12 sites, will have moved into the historic 46-story building on West 57th Street. It will be the first time Hearst has had one main corporate cafeteria.
