YouTube Awards

Winners of the second annual YouTube Video Awards were announced on Friday, The Associated Press reported. The awards recognize the top user-created videos of 2007 on the popular Web site. Users voted on six nominees in each of 12 categories: music, sports, comedy, instructional, short film, inspirational, commentary, creative, politics, series, eyewitness and adorable. This year’s winners include Tay Zonday, 25, above, for his music video “Chocolate Rain,” which had been viewed 15,768,410 times as of Friday. A work by Neil Cicierega, featuring Harry Potter hand puppets, won the comedy category, while Guillaume Reymond’s “Human Tetris” took top honors in the creative category.
