Providing for the information needs of one of the largest multinational law firms is no small task. Yet it's a challenge our entire staff has embraced with great success. Janet Accardo serves as Director of Library Services.  While her office is in the Times Square building, she is responsible for ensuring that the Firm's information needs are met on a global scale.  In addition, Janet meets regularly with other directors of the Firm in order to align the library with the overall and evolving mission of the firm.

For many years Carrie Hirtz has served as Head Librarian of the Firm.  She was instrumental in building the Skadden libraries to what they are today.  Carrie is highly regarded within the Firm and throughout the library community for her knowledge and contribution to the profession.
