Why: “Seeing everyone's winter panoramas has made me somewhat jealous as a skier,” Housser writes. “I live in Nova Scotia, Canada, and right now we're having a very...frustrating... winter. Nova Scotia has had a difficult winter, not because of tremendous amounts of snow (which is the norm) but because of variable temperatures, rain, and ice. This time of year would normally have several feet of snow on our lawn, but currently it is above 0 Celsius and raining. While this is a bit easier to deal with around town, it's killing our chances of skiing and the likes. … As a skier, I would much rather have the cold and snow, while this is destroying the ski hills.”
