Saudi proposals to cooperate with Romania

An official source said in Bucharest on Friday that the chairman of the Saudi Shoura council, Muhammad Bin Jubeir, currently visiting Romania has expressed his interest in maintaining cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Romania in the oil sector.
AFP said that Jubeir proposed convening an agreement for trade, economic, technical, cultural and sports cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Romania during meetings he held on Friday with Romanian President Emil Constantinescu and Prime Minister Radu Vasile.
Jubeir had visited Petro-media station for oil refining in Navodary and announced that Saudi companies may take part in the process of privatization.
Jubeir was due on Friday to visit a factory for oil equipment in Bluetsi, north of Bucharest.
