NICK JR TO AIR BOOHBAH AT 7:00am 7 DAYS A WEEK!
Ragdoll, the award-winning producer of innovative childrens
television programmes, including the phenomenally successful Teletubbies,
today announced a key new UK broadcast partnership with Nick Jr.,
the popular preschool broadcasting platform of NICKELODEON.
BOOHBAH, Ragdolls colourful and kaleidoscopic exercise
programme for 3-6 year olds will premiere on Nick Jr. beginning
on Saturday April 2nd, at 7:00am. BOOHBAH will air seven days
a week at 7:00AM each day.
BOOHBAH is a truly unique preschool programme full of infectious
fun and silly movements that in combination inspire children to
actively participate and engage with the music and motion on-screen.
The programme aims to inspire children to get up and off the couch
rather than prescribe exercise as a daily necessity. Children
cannot resist jumping up and joining in!
Nick Jr. programmes are packed with fun, surprises and comedy
and aim to get children giggling, energised and joining in. BOOHBAH
is a perfect addition to Nick Jr. as children are at the heart
of the programme - they find the chance to interact, imitate and
dance along with the Boohbahs irresistible!
Debbie Macdonald, VP, Director of Programming at Nickelodeon
says, " Ragdoll has a great track record in producing unique
ideas and entertainment for children. Boohbah is a great addition
to Nick Jr. and we are pleased to welcome it to the Nick Jr. family
of characters."
Mark Hollingsworth, Commercial Director of Ragdoll says, Ragdoll
is delighted to have BOOHBAH shown on Nick Jr. The channel has
quickly become an important destination for innovative and compelling
content for young children and their parents and caregivers. We
look forward to a long and successful relationship with NICK JR
going forward.
