Bossa Mia, the music of ABBA

THE powerhouse group from Los Angeles called BNB thrilled music lovers around the world with their bossa nova take on the music of the Beatles in the hit album Bossa Down Abbey Road. Now, the group is back with a new CD that pays tribute to the legendary ABBA.

ABBA was a Swedish pop quartet that dominated the hit charts of the world in the seventies. It was made up of Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus and their girlfriends Anni-Frid Lynstad and Agnetha Faltskog. They took the name ABBA from the first letter of their first names. Though they later married, the relationships did not last, but ABBA music remains a favorite of many of this day and the best of these songs are featured in Bossa Mia.

Bossa Mia is another masterpiece from the production team of Christian de Walden and Ralf Stemmann in Hollywood. Included are “The Winner Takes It All,” “Mama Mia,” “Fernando,” “Gimme Gimme,” “Chiquitita,” “Dancing Queen,” “Knowing Me Knowing You,” “One of Us,” “Waterloo,” “Super Trouper,” “Money Money Money,” “I Have A Dream,” “Take a Chance on Me” and “SOS.”

BNB is made of Dennis “DJ” Clark, Brandy Jones, Bambi Jones, Rick Palombi and Warren Ham. They all have successful individual careers in various aspects of the music business but decided to come together.

Warren spent four years with the famous group Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. He has also toured and recorded with Cher, Toto, Neil Diamond, Donna Summer, Diana Ross and Olivia Newton-John. Rick, who is also an actor, has worked with Natalie Imbruglia, Neil Young and Amy Grant. He also wrote and produced for Meatloaf. DJ Clark is a songwriter, singer and vocal arranger. He started out with the family band, The Honey B’s. He recently spent six months in Japan as one of the performers in the acclaimed Motown Review.
